We only call a connection verified after AIPS checks the real service.
AIPS rechecks eligible publishing connections and changes their public status when a check gets old or fails. Reading this page never accesses a customer account or triggers publishing work.
How we check a connection
A scheduled, read-only check uses the exact active connection saved for one customer website. It confirms the provider account and destination without creating a draft or changing anything.
- Each check is limited to one feature, provider connection, customer workspace, and website.
- The check can validate access but cannot draft, publish, update, remove, or disconnect content.
- A passing result must match the exact provider site, account, and public website saved during setup.
- Each scheduled run checks at most 25 connections to keep cost and provider traffic bounded.
How long a check stays current
A passing check is current for 30 days. After that, AIPS removes the available-now label. After 60 days, it also removes the old public check date.
- A new failed check replaces an older passing result.
- If the required test account is unavailable, AIPS publishes no verification date.
- A connection that still needs an outside account or setup is never labeled verified.
- Public results never include credentials, customer IDs, private evidence, or provider record IDs.
What public visitors can and cannot see
The website explains what each feature does. The REST API and MCP server add current availability and check dates. Reading any of them is passive and cannot refresh a status or contact a provider.
- Public feature lookups never call a publishing provider.
- Only a scheduled connection check or a completed real-provider check can refresh a status.
- AIPS does not publish a successful self-use claim until the corresponding check has passed.

Does code presence count as verification?
No. Code and tests can show that a feature was built, but an available-now connection label requires a current real-service check.
Can opening a public capability page refresh its date?
No. Viewing a page or using the public API cannot contact a provider or refresh a check date.
What happens when an account disappears?
The old available-now result is removed. AIPS records the missing connection privately and publishes no customer or credential details.
